Working out to pig out

I'll admit I'm generally a lazy person when it comes to working out. I guess the thought of doing squats, cardios, core, and all those fitness thingamagic just doesn't really motivate me at all.
I do know of people like my dad and bro who just loveeee going for a jog and to many, jogging or working out is their form of de-stressing.

I'd much rather sleep. Yup, sleep is my ultimate form of de-stressing.

I've always been told I was skinny (yeah, nobody really sees the belly fat that piles up underneath though) and I guess I just kinda took it in my stride. Over the years, my weight has also always fluctuated between 1 kg or 3-4 kg at most, so sometimes I tend to take things for granted.

But as most of would know by now, being skinny DOES NOT equal being fit. One can look skinny without being fit at all. This was always at the back of my head but lately, the good news is, the thought is getting translated into action.

And perhaps, my new Nike kicks is also a form of motivation for me? haha.

Saw this online first and it was love at first sight.
Turquoise has and always will be my favourite colour :)
So when I went to the store and saw this on the shelves, I was superbly excited!
Tried it on.
Told myself: "I already have a pair of Nike training shoes what..." to de-convince myself.
But I couldn't get the image of the shoes out of my head! Argh.

So a week later, went back to the store again and to cut the long story short, ze novio made an offer to me and said,"OK, I will get it for you but this is your birthday present."
Say what? My birthday was still 1.5 months away! And was I sure I really wanted this as my be-early present?hahaha
Dilemma dilemma.
Huge contemplation went on but you can probably already see what was my decision.
LOL
Thank you my novio! #bestnovioever

This Nike flyknit is supposed to act like a "muscle trainer" for your foot; which is why it hugs soooo tight as though you're just wearing a pair of socks.
The maximum kilometers you should wear with the flyknit is supposedly only 7km. Otherwise, your feet will start hurting.
No regrets though. It's a great pair of joggers.

So yea,I'm trying to get my fitness level to improve by a whole lot. Not just to cut down on fats but to get fit for health's sake! :)
For the past week, I've been going to the park twice for a jog.
Each time, I did 3 rounds around the 1.3km lake = 3.9 km
Good start for me. Yay!

When I can't make it to the park, I'll try to get at least a bit of workout done at home which includes some crunches, cardio and weights.
So yea, lets see how the results turn out SOON, hopefully!:)
(Will probably post pics of before and after progress of my body)

Yeap yeap yeap.
KEEP GOING!

Keep shining like stars!
